In every litigated case, there is the potential for an appeal. The party who did not prevail may seek to challenge the decision by the judge, jury, administrative tribunal, or municipal board. At the same time, the prevailing party will need to protect the appeal to preserve the favorable outcome.
We have handled hundreds of appeals for clients, successfully arguing cases before the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Our experience allows us to efficiently review the record from the lower court, identify the key issues, and marshal strong arguments for our clients. In several instances, we have persuaded the appellate court to clarify settled law or adopt new precedent.
