Candidates should have significant experience in estate planning, gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning and return preparation, trust and estate administration, and possess a strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills. Ideal candidates will have experience working directly with high net-worth individuals and families and their advisors on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies. Experience in business succession planning is a plus.

Corporate Attorney

Orr & Reno seeks a mid-level transactional attorney to join its Concord, New Hampshire-based corporate practice team representing and advising closely-held businesses and entrepreneurs, both within New England and beyond.  Responsibilities will include a wide range of matters such as entity formation and structuring; mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; debt and equity financings; corporate governance; and commercial contract drafting and negotiation.

Candidates should have a strong academic background, be admitted to the New Hampshire Bar with a minimum of three years prior experience in a firm or in-house setting, have a sound understanding of fundamental corporate law concepts and transactional practice, and a demonstrated desire to live, work and participate in the greater New Hampshire community. Litigation Paralegal

Orr & Reno, P.A. is seeking an experienced paralegal to support our growing Litigation Department.  The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to function well in a high-paced team environment and have superb interpersonal and client-relations skills.  The ability to be proactive, multi-task, and prioritize are essential. Responsibilities will include assisting attorneys through all phases of a case, interviewing clients and witnesses, drafting routine pleadings and discovery, coordinating document productions using an electronic document review platform, maintaining case files, preparing exhibits, and assisting attorneys with trial preparation which may include attending depositions, hearings and trials.  A minimum of 3-5 years of paralegal experience is preferred.

Junior Real Estate Paralegal

The law firm of Orr & Reno, P.A. in Concord has an immediate opening for a commercial real estate paralegal with a minimum of two years of experience handling commercial and/or residential real estate transactions.

Duties include conducting title searches, issuing title insurance, drafting commercial real estate documents, reviewing due diligence materials, researching zoning and land use matters, and managing and coordinating commercial real estate closings.
Candidate should enjoy working in a dynamic team environment and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), strong problem solving and analytical abilities, excellent research and computer skills, and superior attention to detail and organizational skills.

The successful candidate will possess a professional demeanor, exceptional organization, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to be flexible, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment is essential. Must be detail-oriented, computer proficient (to include Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, scanning and maintaining large, nuanced electronic files), be a team player and possess the ability to work independently. This position supports multiple timekeepers.

A minimum of 3–5 years of legal assistant experience is preferred, but the firm is willing to train and invest in a less experienced but otherwise highly qualified and motivated candidate. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position.
