Litigation Legal Assistant

Orr & Reno is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated legal assistant to join our litigation group. The successful candidate will possess a professional demeanor, exceptional organization, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to be flexible, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment is essential. Must be detail-oriented, computer proficient (to include Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, scanning and maintaining large, nuanced electronic files), a team player, and possess the ability to work independently. This position supports multiple timekeepers. A minimum of 3–5 years of legal assistant experience is preferred, but the firm is willing to train and invest in a less experienced but otherwise highly qualified and motivated candidate. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position.

Family Law Paralegal

Orr & Reno is looking for an experienced and self-motivated paralegal to join our growing family law group.  A bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent is required.  The successful candidate will possess strong professional judgment, organization, and excellent written and verbal communication.  The ability to be proactive, multi-task, and prioritize are essential.  The paralegal responsibilities will include working closely with family law attorneys on complex, high-net-worth domestic relations matters from inception to finish; managing Rule 1.25-A mandatory disclosures; drafting and answering discovery; managing document productions; attending mediations and hearings with family law attorneys, and working directly with clients throughout their cases.  Our practice group functions as a supportive team and the paralegal will have access to a legal assistant.

Probate and Trust Administration Paralegal

Orr & Reno is looking for an experienced and self-motivated paralegal to join our growing trusts and estates group. A bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent is required. The successful candidate will possess strong professional judgment, organization, and excellent written and verbal communication. The ability to be proactive, multi-task, and prioritize are essential. The paralegal’s responsibilities will include administering estates and trusts, including probate court filings, account preparation, and compiling tax information for outside tax preparers. Must have the ability to work independently in a team environment, and be detail-oriented. Our practice group functions as a supportive team and the paralegal will have access to a legal assistant.

Corporate Attorney

Orr & Reno seeks a mid-level transactional attorney to join its Concord, New Hampshire-based corporate practice team representing and advising closely-held businesses and entrepreneurs, both within New England and beyond.  Responsibilities will include a wide range of matters such as entity formation and structuring; mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; debt and equity financings; corporate governance; and commercial contract drafting and negotiation.

Candidates should have a strong academic background, be admitted to the New Hampshire Bar with a minimum of three years prior experience in a firm or in-house setting, have a sound understanding of fundamental corporate law concepts and transactional practice, and a demonstrated desire to live, work and participate in the greater New Hampshire community. This position offers an excellent opportunity for mentoring and practice development for younger attorneys with a desire to continue to learn as a relied upon and contributing member of a close-knit team.
