Civil Litigation Attorney

Orr & Reno, P.A. seeks a mid-level civil litigation attorney with strong advocacy and writing skills to join our firm.  Our attorneys appear in a variety of complex matters in state and federal courts, administrative tribunals, arbitrations and mediations.

Candidates should have a minimum of three years’ prior litigation experience and have a sound understanding of litigation fundamentals, including client and witness interviews, motion practice, promulgating and answering discovery, conducting and defending depositions, and trial preparation and practice.  A demonstrated desire to live, work, and participate in the greater New Hampshire community is a must.  This position offers an excellent opportunity for newer attorneys to learn from our esteemed litigators and to serve as a relied upon and contributing member of a close-knit team.

Litigation Paralegal

Orr & Reno, P.A. is seeking an experienced paralegal to support our growing Litigation Department.  The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to function well in a high-paced team environment and have superb interpersonal and client-relations skills.  The ability to be proactive, multi-task, and prioritize are essential. Responsibilities will include assisting attorneys through all phases of a case, interviewing clients and witnesses, drafting routine pleadings and discovery, coordinating document productions using an electronic document review platform, maintaining case files, preparing exhibits, and assisting attorneys with trial preparation which may include attending depositions, hearings and trials.  A minimum of 3-5 years of paralegal experience is preferred.

Candidates should have significant experience in estate planning, gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning and return preparation, trust and estate administration, and possess a strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills. Ideal candidates will have experience working directly with high net-worth individuals and families and their advisors on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies. Experience in business succession planning is a plus.

Experienced Family Law Paralegal

Orr & Reno is looking for an experienced and self-motivated paralegal to join our growing family law group. A bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent is required. The successful candidate will possess strong professional judgment, organization, and excellent written and verbal communications. The ability to be proactive, multi-task, and prioritize are essential. The paralegal responsibilities will include working closely with family law attorneys on complex, high net worth domestic relations matters from inception to finish; managing Rule 1.25-A mandatory disclosures; drafting and answering discovery; managing document productions; attending mediations and hearings with family law attorneys; and working directly with clients throughout their cases. Our practice group functions as a supportive team and the paralegal will have access to a legal assistant.

Orr & Reno seeks a mid-level transactional attorney to join its Concord, New Hampshire-based corporate practice team representing and advising closely-held businesses and entrepreneurs, both within New England and beyond.  Responsibilities will include a wide range of matters such as entity formation and structuring; mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; debt and equity financings; corporate governance; and commercial contract drafting and negotiation.

Candidates should have a strong academic background, be admitted to the New Hampshire Bar with a minimum of three years prior experience in a firm or in-house setting, have a sound understanding of fundamental corporate law concepts and transactional practice, and a demonstrated desire to live, work and participate in the greater New Hampshire community.
