Emily T. Forgey

Emily Forgey works closely with the firm’s family law attorneys to provide steady, compassionate support to clients navigating divorce, parenting matters, and other sensitive family transitions. She assists with drafting court documents, managing financial disclosures, organizing case files, and coordinating communication so that clients feel informed and supported throughout the legal process.

Before joining the team at Orr & Reno, Emily spent more than 20 years in roles centered around people, mentoring, training, financial processes, and problem-solving. Before entering the legal field, she supervised operations in the financial services industry, where she regularly coached teams and guided clients through high-stress situations with empathy and clear communication. This background allows her to approach family law with both precision and compassion.

When she’s not at work, Emily loves adventuring with her family, traveling, and celebrating every family milestone. She enjoys writing, arts and crafts projects, and finding beauty and humor in everyday life.
