Legal Breakfast Series: Will the New Year Ring in New Compromises or More Stalemates at the State House?
Dec 30, 2019Attorneys Lindsay Nadeau and Connie Lane will be the featured speakers during the latest Orr & Reno Legal Breakfast Series, “2020 Legislative Preview” on Wednesday, January 22 at the Orr & Reno offices at 45 South Main Street in Concord.
The presentation will include a primer on what to expect in the second year of the Legislature’s biennium, how over 800 bill titles will make their way through the session, and which of those may have a shot of ending up on the Governor’s desk. Attorneys Nadeau and Lane will also discuss how the 2020 elections could shape what happens in the capital city.
Nadeau frequently represents clients before the NH Legislature, the NH Insurance Department, the Department of Labor, Commission for Human Rights and other administrative agencies.
Lane is an Orr & Reno shareholder elected in 2018 to her first term in the NH House of Representatives, serving constituents in Merrimack – District 12.
The event starts at 8 a.m. and is free to the public, but pre-registration is required. Coffee and light breakfast will be served.
