Legal Breakfast Series: Corporate Transparency Act

Attorney Rebecca Liubakka will be the featured speaker during the latest Orr & Reno Legal Breakfast Series, “Are You Ready for New Federal Reporting Requirements?”, on Wednesday, May 17 at the Orr & Reno offices at 45 South Main Street in Concord.

The presentation will examine the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) which goes into effect on January 1, 2024. On that date, the federal government will begin collecting information about the “beneficial owners” of corporate entities throughout the United States. Beneficial owners are individuals who directly or indirectly own a company. What does this mean for you? Come find out who must report, what information must be included in the report, and when the report must be filed to avoid penalties.

Orr & Reno Legal Breakfast Series is presented by Orr & Reno and the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce. Events offer a unique opportunity for attendees to learn from experienced attorneys, ask questions, and interact with other Chamber members, business leaders, and community members.

The event starts at 8 a.m. and is free to the public, but pre-registration is required. Coffee and light breakfast will be served.
