“Environmental, Telecomm, Utilities & Energy Law: Emerging Contaminants Pose Legal Challenges” focuses on the legal, practical and political hurdles of dealing with Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances, or PFASs, which present the newest class of man-made chemical contaminants to stymie regulators, water suppliers and consumers.

A frequent author and lecturer on environmental, energy and ethics topics, Smith, is a member of Orr & Reno’s Environmental Law, Energy, Utilities, Governmental Relations, Administrative, and Legal Malpractice and Professional Conduct practice groups.
