Orr & Reno Attorney Maureen Smith Published in NH Bar News

Maureen Smith, an Orr & Reno shareholder who represents business and individual clients in a broad range of environmental matters, has been published in the September 20, 2017 issue of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Bar News.

“Environmental, Telecomm, Utilities & Energy Law: Emerging Contaminants Pose Legal Challenges”[1] focuses on the legal, practical and political hurdles of dealing with Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances, or PFASs, which present the newest class of man-made chemical contaminants to stymie regulators, water suppliers and consumers.

A frequent author and lecturer on environmental, energy and ethics topics, Smith, is a member of Orr & Reno’s Environmental Law, Energy, Utilities, Governmental Relations, Administrative, and Legal Malpractice and Professional Conduct practice groups.
