Oct 24, 2016Orr & Reno Shareholders Susan Geiger and Maureen Smith were published in the September issue of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Bar News on subjects relating to Environmental, Telecomm, Utilities & Energy Law.
Geiger’s article, “Rules and Staff Expand in Siting of NH Energy Facilities,” looks at how the New Hampshire Site Evaluation Committee is addressing processing and reviewing applications for certificates of site and facility.
Smith’s article, “Lead Paint Hazard Enforcement Trends: Swift Action, Stiffer Penalties,” examines how lead paint is still the most common, highly concentrated source of lead exposure to young children and pregnant women.
Geiger is a member of Orr & Reno’s Energy Practice Group and focuses on regulatory and legislative matters affecting the energy and telecommunications industries. Smith is a member of the firm’s Energy & Environmental practice group and represents clients in a broad range of regulatory matters involving energy project development, construction and operational compliance.
