Attorney Nicole Forbes Elected to Family Law Section of NH Bar Association

Orr & Reno attorney Nicole Forbes has been elected as Co-Chair of the New Hampshire Bar Association (NHBA) Family Law Section. Forbes will be responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating all activities for the section which provides a variety of opportunities for members to improve their professional knowledge.

The Family Law Section, comprising more than 400 members, meets periodically to discuss issues of concern. It also provides input to the courts on such matters as proposed rules changes, and acts as a channel of communication between the judiciary, legislature, state agencies, and the NHBA, on matters of common concern.

Forbes is an experienced family law litigator who helps clients resolve their family crises in an efficient manner with empathy, compassion, and collegiality, and with an emphasis on settling cases through negotiation, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution methods, whenever possible.

The NHBA is a non-profit 501(c)(6), court-mandated organization that serves 3 constituencies: The legal community; The court system; and The public at large. As a unified bar, all attorneys licensed to practice in the state and NH judges must belong to the NHBA and pay annual dues.
