Lynnette practices in civil litigation, representing individuals, businesses, non-profits, and public entities in a range of matters including state and federal litigation, employment law (regulatory compliance and litigation), wrongful death/personal injury, municipal law, and 91-A, civil rights and Section 1983 litigation, property disputes and zoning matters, property tax exemption appeals, and appeals from courts and administrative agencies.

As a member of the firm’s litigation team, Lynnette is prepared to counsel clients in avoidance of litigation and, when needed, represent them in court, administrative proceedings, and public hearings.  Lynnette believes that strong advocacy means helping her clients reach their goals as efficiently as possible, including mediating cases and drafting and filing dispositive motions when suitable.  Typical matters Lynnette helps clients with include case analysis, fact investigation, legal research, client counseling, litigation filing/response and discovery, mediation/negotiation, trial representation, and appellate representation.

Past Experience

Prior to joining Orr & Reno, Lynnette practiced civil litigation at a large New Hampshire law firm.  Lynnette has represented clients at various stages of litigation and all levels of New Hampshire’s courts, as well as before the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights and the Office of Professional Licensure.  Lynnette has assisted with appellate briefs to the N.H. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.  As a graduate of the University of New Hampshire School of Law Daniel Webster Scholars Honors Program, Lynnette gained hands-on practice experience during her final two years of law school that prepared her to be the best possible advocate for her clients.  Before attending law school, Lynnette was a marketing Account Executive for a New Hampshire-based marketing agency, where she assisted clients (national and international brands) with developing creative and effective experiential marketing programs, which has provided Lynnette with a creative and business-oriented approach to commercial and business litigation matters.
