Bradford W. Melson

by wpengine | March 26, 2018 9:22 pm

Brad brings a business-minded approach to advising and counseling investors, entrepreneurs, and privately-held companies on a wide range of general corporate, commercial, and transactional matters, including entity formation, governance issues, mergers and acquisitions, private offerings of debt and equity, search fund transactions, and business succession planning.  Having his MBA gives him a unique skill set and a pragmatic approach as a lawyer working with business clients.

Brad joined Orr & Reno in 2018 from the Corporate Department of a large regional law firm. In law school at Northeastern University, Brad participated in the J.D./M.B.A. dual degree program, served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Northeastern University Law Journal, and cut his teeth in a series of full-time legal internships that included the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office Transportation and Construction Bureau, the chambers of the Honorable Norman H. Stahl, Senior Circuit Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the office of the general counsel of a large Massachusetts-based retailer.

Hobbies

Brad enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and kids on adventures throughout the Lakes Region and White Mountains of New Hampshire, boating, hiking, skiing, and, occasionally, working on a hopeless golf game.
