Orr & Reno was recognized with a “Business in the Arts” award from the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts at its 31st annual reception. Approximately 325 business and arts leaders attended the gala event in Manchester on May 11. NHPR host Brady Carlson served as master of ceremonies.
The NHBCA commended Orr & Reno for its longtime commitment to the arts community in Concord and beyond through donations and board participation, noting in particular its support of the Capitol Center for the Arts, Red River Theatres, Concord Community Players, NHPR, and the Kimball-Jenkins School of Art. The NHBCA also praised firm’s unique relationship with local artist Melissa Miller. Orr & Reno provides a large studio space for Miller’s use as artist-in-residence. (View related article here[1].)
The NHBCA also recognized Lincoln Financial Group, Lake Sunapee Bank, and Dancing Lion Chocolate for supporting the arts community. The four award-winning institutions each received a framed watercolor by New Hampshire artist Catherine Tuttle.
