Legal Breakfast Series: Online Sweepstakes and Contests

Attorney Heidi Cole will be the featured speaker during the latest Orr & Reno Legal Breakfast Series on Tuesday, November 21 at the Orr & Reno offices at 45 South Main Street in Concord.

The presentation will discuss the fundamentals of online promotions, with a focus on user-generated content (UGC) contests.  Attorney Cole will address federal and state regulation of online sweepstakes and the potential pitfalls of UGC contests by examining case studies of recent mishaps involving major brands such as Anne Taylor, Coca Cola, and Cole Haan.

The event starts at 8 a.m. and is free to the public, but pre-registration is required. Coffee and light breakfast will be served.
