Legal Breakfast Series: How to be a Valuable Board Member for a Nonprofit Organization

Attorneys Bob Carey[1], Laura Hartz, and Kelley Stonebraker will be the featured speaker during the latest Orr & Reno Legal Breakfast Series, “Nonprofit Boards: A Toolkit for How to be a Valuable Board Member”, on Wednesday, February 19 at the Orr & Reno offices at 45 South Main Street in Concord.

For those who have recently joined a board of directors, are curious about legal obligations in fulfilling board member responsibilities or eager to learn best practices, this discussion offers a great opportunity to become informed.

The session will provide a comprehensive overview of board member roles and responsibilities and give attendees a “toolkit” of strategies to help them become an integral member of any board of directors.

The event starts at 8 a.m. and is free to the public, but pre-registration is required. Coffee and light breakfast will be served.
