Legal Breakfast Series: Commercial and Residential Leasing – Avoiding Traps for the Unwary

Attorneys Nicole Paul and Erin Vanden Borre will be the featured speakers during the latest Orr & Reno Legal Breakfast Series, ” Commercial and Residential Leasing: Avoiding Traps for the Unwary”, on Wednesday, April 17 at the Orr & Reno offices at 45 South Main Street in Concord.

The presentation will include an overview of common pitfalls in the context of commercial and residential lease agreements and how to effectively navigate these agreements from either the landlord’s or tenant’s perspective.  Attorneys Paul and Vanden Borre will also offer lease drafting pointers aimed at establishing legal protections that are informed by practical business considerations.

Paul’s legal practice helps individuals, couples and families develop and implement estate plans that address issues such as business succession, blended and nontraditional families, and transfer of assets to the next generation. Her real estate expertise is advising commercial and institutional clients in all areas of acquisition, development, financing, sales and leasing of real estate. She also represents landlords and tenants in all types of leasing transactions, including office, commercial, retail and industrial.

Vanden Borre practice is focused on a broad range of commercial real estate matters. She represents developers, retailers, service providers and institutions in transactions involving all classes of real estate assets, both regionally and nationally.
