Fairclough to Participate in NH Bar Panel

Orr & Reno shareholder Judith A. Fairclough[1] will participate in a panel discussion examining post-nuptial agreements at a joint section meeting of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Elder Law, Estate Planning & Probate Law section and Family Law section. The event will take place on February 19 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the New Hampshire Bar Association at 2 Pillsbury Street in Concord.

In 2013, the New Hampshire Supreme Court acknowledged the enforceability of post-nuptial agreements. These agreements have implications in the event of divorce and death. The panel will review the issues from both a family law and an estate planning perspective.
