DHS Publishes Final STEM OPT Rule

The Dept. of Homeland Security published the final STEP Optional Practical Training (OPT) regulation. The amended regulation, which provides for an extension of the OPT period by 24 months (a STEM OPT extension), will go into effect on May 10, 2016.
