COVID-19 UPDATE: Attorney Wade in Webinar to Help Employers Understand Liability for COVID-19 Exposure

Orr & Reno attorney Lisa Wade[1] will address risks that employers face in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic with a webinar presentation on Wednesday, April 29 at 1 pm.

As policymakers have begun exploring when and how to “reopen” our economy, business leaders are increasingly concerned about potential COVID-19 liability exposure. The one-hour presentation hosted by the Business Industry Association (BIA)[2] will feature a panel of legal experts who will examine the risks employers face, even if acting in good faith. The webinar will also explore legal “safe harbor” legislation to protect businesses who are trying to do the right thing.
