The Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (OSHRC) has invited Attorney Jim Laboe[1] to be a panelist at the upcoming OSHRC Judicial Conference in Washington, DC.

The focus of this Conference is to provide an opportunity for the agency judges (ALJ’s), commissioners, staff, and OSHRC stakeholders to increase their knowledge and understanding of specific substantive/procedural topics and new developments.

Laboe is one of the most seasoned OSHA lawyers in the northeast with 18 years of experience in handling contested OSHA matters. Given the volume of contested OSHA cases that he handles, the OSHRC has come to view Attorney Laboe as an “important stakeholder” and is seeking his insight into the competent and fair administration of the law.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized by the Commission as an ‘important stakeholder’ and I am excited to share my clients’ views with the national decision makers in an effort to improve upon our mutual goals of keeping American workers safe, ” Laboe remarked.

In addition to the OSHRC commissioners and ALJ’s, Attorney Laboe will be joined by other stakeholders including the Solicitor of Labor and the Acting Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA. The conference will take place on September 12 and 13.
